The Walla Walla Police Department will hold a free seminar in mid-August on rental property management. The 12 hours of training is open to anyone but registration is required.
The Crime Free Rental Housing program training is aimed to help landlords as well as tenants in dealing with problems at residential rental properties.
Among topics covered are tenant screening, landlord/tenant laws, safety codes, gangs and drugs, evictions and law enforcement roles.
