VerticalRent announced today the release of criminal and eviction reports, powered by Experian Public records, the largest originally sourced data in the United States. Landlords and property management firms can purchase individual criminal reports at $14.95, which include both National and Statewide results from a data repository consisting of over 600 million unique criminal records, civil cases, and bankruptcies.

Other data sources include: Department of Corrections, Arrest Records, Warrant Records, Administrative Office of the Courts, Patriot Act Records, and Sex Offender Records.

We teamed up with Experian® Public Records to offer criminal and eviction reporting to our VerticalRent customers, says Matt Angerer, CEO and Co-Founder of VerticalCloud, the company behind both VerticalRent and AppSingular. Our #1 goal is to provide our customers with best-in-class tenant screening services. Our reports are built from 1,400 different government municipalities at the county, state, and federal levels across the United States, adds Angerer. VerticalRent offers bulk pricing to property management firms and landlords who are serious about tenant screening. Offering up to a 40% discount on both criminal and eviction reports for buying background check credits in bullk, the discounted cost per report is about $9.00 much lower than the industry standard.

According to Angerer, VerticalRents core competency starts with tenant screening and no-cost credit reports. Landlords can obtain an electronic rental application with a no-cost credit report and then decide whether they want to dig deeper with a criminal and/or eviction report. We listen to our customers needs closely and continue to improve upon the platform for landlords, tenant placement services firms, and enterprise property management companies, he said.
