Authorities are seeking the public’s help in finding a Northeast Portland homeowner accused of killing his tenant, whose body was found at his home Tuesday.

Gary Alan Lewis, 61, has not been seen since Saturday — the same day that his tenant, Renee Suzanne Sandidge-Crowell, 59, was reported missing. Her remains were found on Tuesday and were positively identified as belonging to Sandidge-Crowell by the medical examiner.

A warrant has been issued for Lewis’s arrest, Portland Police said in a press release.

Lewis is described as a white male, 6 feet 2 inches tall, 190 pounds (or thinner), short gray hair, and brown eyes. Lewis is now clean-shaven and his hair is much shorter than pictured in the latest available photo.

Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward of up to $1,000 for information, reported to Crime Stoppers, that leads to an arrest in this case, or any unsolved felony. Tipsters can remain anonymous.
