Tenant arrested for warrants

Boonton Township Police responded to a township residence for a reported dispute between a landlord and tenant on Thursday, Nov. 20, at about 10:45 a.m. When officers arrived on scene, they spoke to the complainant who stated that he was renting a room to a female tenant with whom he has had ongoing issues for allegedly smoking marijuana inside the home.

Officers also spoke with the female tenant, identified as Carly Fiore, 30, of Boonton Township, who was found to be under the influence of marijuana.

After a check of her identification, police reportedly discovered that Fiore had several warrants for her arrest from multiple police agencies.

Fiore was arrested and transported to police headquarters where she was processed and charged with being under the influence of a controlled dangerous substance. She was ultimately turned over to the Stanhope Police Department on one of her warrants.
