A Colorado Springs man is jailed on murder charges after allegedly shooting his tenant Friday night.
Police say 53-year-old John Lorenz also pointed a gun at the unidentified 38-year-old male victim earlier in the day.
The shooting happened on Northridge Place in northeast Colorado Springs. The victim and Lorenz had been arguing throughout the day and were both intoxicated.
Lorenz reportedly shot the man in a bedroom. He’s being held without bond and returns to court next week.
