An ex-convict who’s served four terms in prison is accused of pulling a gun on his 22-year-old tenant over the weekend.
“You have to get out right now,” Reginald Holmes, 48, told the tenant as he pointed what appeared to be a black revolver at him Sunday afternoon, court papers allege.
The incident happened at Holmes’ residence on the 1,600 block of Castleton Avenue in Port Richmond, police allege.
The victim then saw Holmes hand the gun to someone at a nearby street corner, police allege. Authorities did not recover a firearm.
Police arrived and arrested Holmes minutes later. He’s charged with second-degree menacing and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, both misdemeanors, according to information from District Attorney Daniel Donovan’s office.
Holmes has served four separate stints in prison since 1985, under his own name and the name Anthony Blackwell, for crimes including felony assault, drug dealing, and robbery public records show.
He was most recently sentenced to five to 10 years in 2007 for a Brooklyn robbery and bail jumping conviction. He was released in November 2012, and completed his parole the following year.
