A 45-year-old Eagle Trace Apartments tenant told police he was robbed at gunpoint outside of his Torch Hill Road home, Columbus police said.

Officials are on the lookout for the two apparent teens who are reportedly responsible for the 5:30 a.m. attack that injured no one, according to a report.

Police records indicate that the unidentified attackers used a pistol to hold their victim at gunpoint in an open field in the 2000 block of Torch Hill Road. An official said in a report that they stole the victim’s $200 black AT&T Samsung cellphone and $300.

Both offenders were described as black men around 18 years old who were both seen wearing black skull caps during the attack, reports show. The victim told police that one 5-foot-5 suspect has a light complexion and weighs about 170 pounds, records stated. Seen with a scruffy beard and a unibrow, the suspect also wore a black coat and black sneakers, reports show.

According to an offense report, the other 5-foot-9 suspect has a dark complexion and weighs about 150 pounds. He has a clean-shaved face and was also seen sporting camouflage overalls and a black long-sleeved shirt, officers said.

Police said in a report that they received a Wednesday call at about 8:40 a.m. and responded to the reported armed robbery.
