A 20-year-old youth has been booked for allegedly raping the 5 yr old daughter of the landlord on Wednesday evening. The incident took place on Diwali evening when the victim’s parents were busy attending to guests while the girl was playing alone at their residence.
Kullarkar lifted and took her to the bathroom.
The girl’s screams alerted her parents who rushed to her rescue. But Kullarkar managed to flee from the rear door.
Nandanvan police have registered a case against Kullarkar. Police said that as per medical reports, though Kullarkar raped her, he could not force himself upon the child. Hence he was also booked for attempt to criminal offences (section 511) of IPC.
