A man is behind bars tonight, accused of murdering his landlord. Lenawee County sheriff’s deputies arrested Michael Thorn Anderson Tuesday afternoon for the murder of Larry Smith.
Police say Smith owned a home where Anderson rented a room for the past two months. Smith’s body was found in his Woodstock Township home on Sunday.
According to the sheriff’s office, he appeared to die from blunt force injuries to the head. Authorities say the two men were recently involved in a landlord-tenant dispute.
Anderson is currently locked up in the Lenawee County jail.
