A 14-year-old boy was arrested for allegedly raping a six-year-old girl on Thursday. The incident took place in Patel Nagar area of Kurukshetra.
The accused, a student of Class IX, allegedly raped the girl – daughter of his elder brother’s tenant.
Father of the victim in his complaint with the police said: “I had rented a house in the town. My daughter would often go to the house of owner. We were away on Thursday and the accused took undue advantage of our absence and raped my daughter.”
Police have registered a case against the accused boy and sent him to the juvenile home in Ambala.
