In a shocking incident, a tenant stabbed to death 50-year-old landlady and two women on Sunday late in Jahangirpuri area of Delhi. While one other injured was still fighting for life in the hospital.
According to police, the accused tenant was arrested from the spot and police have launched investigation to ascertain the reason behind the murder. Reports suggest that Mansaram was living with his family in a four-storied building in Jahangirpuri area of North Delhi.
Three floors of house were on rent while ground floor was in his jurisdiction. According to informations, Mansaram`s wife Santra Devi (50) had heard sound of scuffle on the top floor of the house.
She reached on the roof and found that tenant were fighting among each other. She had tried to stop them but one of them attacked on her with knife. Later, accused allegedly stabbed one more lady – Vinita (30). Both of them died on the spot. The assailant said to be one of the tenant also attacked two more persons, who were later admitted in the hospital. One of them died identified as Jyoti also died during treatment. Locals informed to the police, who arrested accused from the spot. Talking to reporters, DCP (North), Meenu Chaudhary said that police has registered a case of murder and arrested the assailant. A team was looking into the matter to ascertain the reason behind the murder.
