A 16-year-old girl is being questioned by police for beating another teen inside a Brooklyn McDonald’s — and the video surveillance that went viral helped cops identify her, police sources said.
The suspect was picked up by investigators from her Prospect-Lefferts Gardens home early Thursday and brought to the 70th Precinct station house, sources said.
Charges against her were pending as of 10 a.m. Thursday.
The victim, 18, was inside the fast food chain at Flatbush Avenue and Beverly Road nearby Erasmus Hall High School at 2:50 p.m. Monday when a huge brawl broke out, according to cops.
At least six women were caught on the surveillance video throwing punches and pulling the girl’s hair.
An onlooker had rushed out of the fast food joint during the attack and flagged down a police officer who happened to be walking nearby, sources said.
Two other teens were arrested the day of the assault, but were not directly responsible for the beatdown, sources said.
A girl was charged with disorderly conduct for acting up with a cop who responded to the scene, sources said.
A man was also arrested and charged with obstructing governmental administration for intervening in his girlfriend’s arrest, the sources added.
Both were issued desk appearance tickets and released to the custody of their parents, police sources said.
The victim didn’t want to press charges, but police have reached out to the girl’s father to see if he could get her to change her mind, a source said.
The victim initially refused medical attention, but the dean at a nearby high school convinced her to see a doctor.
All of the suspects are believed to be between 14 and 16 years old.
The teen being questioned for the beatdown has a lengthy criminal history, including an arrest last month for stabbing her brother in the arm with a kitchen knife, police sources said.
She also has a history of assaulting her 64-year-old grandmother and even injured a cop in another arrest for violating an order of protection last year, sources said.
She has a total of 10 prior arrests, cops said.
